PRIVACY POLICY (Deutsche Kompaktfassung) Der Verein HomeLink International Österreich („HomeLink Österreich“) anerkennt die Bedeutung der vertraulichen Behandlung der persönlichen Informationen seiner Mitglieder. HomeLink Österreich ist Mitglied von HomeLink International Associates („HLIA“), einer in Brüssel registrierten Non Profit Organisation. HomeLink Österreich sammelt persönliche Informationen von Mitgliedern, die ihre Wohnungen und Häuser mit anderen Mitgliedern von HLIA tauschen. Diese Informationen werden in einem Tauschbuch zusammen mit einer kurzen Beschreibung des Heimes veröffentlicht, das zum Tausch angeboten wird. Mit ihrer Mitgliedschaft bei HomeLink Österreich stimmen die Mitglieder der Veröffentlichung ihrer persönlichen Informationen in gedruckten und elektronischen Versionen (=Datenbank) des Tauschbuches zu. HomeLink Österreich gibt Ihre persönlichen Informationen nur weiter an: HLIA und HLIA-Teilnehmer und -mitglieder in anderen Ländern. Ihre persönlichen Informationen können auch zur Ansicht durch Besucher in einem "Besucher" - Bereich der Datenbank vorhanden sein; Ihr Name und sämtliche Kontaktinformationen sind jedoch in diesem Bereich nicht sichtbar. Sie stimmen auch dem Erhalt von Informationen durch HomeLink Österreich zu, ebenso bei oder nach Ablauf Ihrer Mitgliedschaft. Wenn Sie dies nicht mehr wünschen, genügt eine Emailmitteilung an office@homelink.at, ebenso, wenn Sie eine Entfernung Ihrer Daten aus der Datenbank wünschen. Keine Datenübertragung über das Internet ist völlig sicher. Dementsprechend gewährleistet HomeLink Österreich nicht die Sicherheit für zugesandte Informationen, diese werden auf Ihre eigene Gefahr übertragen. The “Verein HomeLink International – Holiday Service” (referred to as "HomeLink Austria") is a licensed affiliate of HomeLink International Associates (referred to as "HLIA"), an association registered in Brussels, Belgium. HomeLink Austria recognizes the importance to its members of the discreet and confidential handling of their personal information. It is HomeLink Austria's policy to comply with the requirements of any applicable privacy legislation in all its activities involving the collection, use, disclosure and handling of personal information. Your access to and use of the website located at www.homelink.at (the "Site") and/or the printed directory referred to directly below, is conditional upon your acceptance of HomeLink Austria's privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") and any other terms and conditions contained on the Site (collectively referred to as the "Agreement"). Your use of the Site and/or the printed directory constitutes your acceptance of the Agreement and any variations to it. Collection of Personal Information HomeLink Austria collects personal information from members who register with HomeLink Austria to exchange their homes with other members of HomeLink International Association ("HLIA"). This information is then published in a directory ("Directory") along with a brief description of the home offered for exchange which is written/approved by the member. In registering with HomeLink Austria members acknowledge that their personal information will be published in both printed and electronic versions of the Directory. HomeLink Austria also collects personal information of members requesting a directory from it for the purpose of finding home exchange listings and in order for HomeLink Austria to be able to respond to a request for information or feedback given by members or visitors to the Site. If you choose not to provide HomeLink Austria with your personal information, it may be unable to provide you with its services or respond to a request for information or feedback given by you. Examples of personal information HomeLink Austria collects include but are not limited to: name, address, email address, phone and fax numbers and credit card details. HomeLink Austria only collects personal information by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way. HomeLink Austria only collects personal information directly from an individual and makes known the purpose for which personal information is being collected at the time it is being collected. Personal information may also be collected by cookies when you use the Site. Cookies are pieces of data stored by your web browser on your hard drive which contain information relating to your use of the Site. When you access the Site, cookies may record details relating to your use of the Site, including what pages you view from the Site. HomeLink Austria does not use cookies to track your personal information and uses them for internal management purposes only. Particular areas of our web site employ the use of temporary cookies. For example, HLIA uses temporary cookies to maintain a user's state - such as logged in or not logged in. Use and Disclosure As a general rule, HomeLink Austria will not use personal information for a purpose other than the primary purpose for which it is collected unless HomeLink Austria has obtained your consent to such use. HomeLink Austria will not disclose your personal information to any third parties except to the following: • HLIA for the purpose of facilitating home exchanges between members of HLIA and you consent to such disclosure. Your personal information may also be available for public viewing by visitors in a "visitors" area of the Site. However, your contact details will not be on public display and are only available for viewing by other members in a secure "members only" area of the Site. You consent and agree to use and disclosure of your personal information generally in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also consent to HomeLink Austria using your personal information for the purposes of: (a) providing you with its services; (b) responding to a request for information and/or feedback by you; and (c) marketing and promoting its services and providing you with any information HomeLink Austria considers may be of interest to you; at any time, including changes to its services and the Site. If you do not wish to receive future marketing or promotional material from HomeLink Austria, you may contact it at any time by sending an email to the following email address requesting that no further material be sent to you. HomeLink Austria will as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving your request, remove your contact details from its database. Data Quality Once your personal information is collected, HomeLink Austria then uploads that information to a central HLIA database which is maintained by HLIA. HomeLink Austria will take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal information that it holds about a member is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Where a member registers with HomeLink Austria, it will provide a proof copy of their advertisement, upon request, at any time during the registration period and/or where a change is made. Changes are made only at the request of the member. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that the proof sent to them is accurate and in keeping with that information which they are satisfied will be disclosed to other HLIA affiliates and members. Data Security You acknowledge that no data transmission over the Internet is totally secure. Accordingly, HomeLink Austria does not warrant the security of any information which you transmit to it. Any information which you transmit to HomeLink Austria is transmitted at your own risk. However, once HomeLink Austria receives your transmission, HomeLink Austria will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss or unauthorised access which may include but is not limited to any one or more of the following measures: secure network links, firewalls, password protection and virus protection. Openness On request by you, HomeLink Austria will make known to you the types of personal information it holds about you, the purpose for which it is held and how it collects, holds and uses that information. HomeLink Austria will provide you with access to your personal information

If your request for access is denied, HomeLink Austria will provide you with reasons for its decision.
